The release date for FIFA 23 is rapidly approaching, and EA Sports has been teasing fans with fresh player ratings ever since.
Potential ratings for Career Mode have been released, joining those of the top five European leagues.
EA Sports has released its evaluations for the top young players in the league, both in terms of overall performance and future potential.
In FIFA 23, which of the young players do you think has the most promising future?
When comparing the best potential ratings in FIFA 23’s Career Mode, Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé beat out Manchester City’s goal-scoring machine Erling Haaland.
Overall, EA Sports gave Mbappé a 91, but they have given him the potential for a 95. In contrast, Haaland is rated 88 and has the potential to become a 94.
Pedri, midfielder for Barcelona, is third on the list, followed by Phil Foden of Manchester City and Vinicius Junior, winger for Real Madrid.
A total of 17 young players in this year’s game have been assigned a potential rating of 90 or higher, however, none of them are defenders.
Only goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma (88) makes it into the list of elite prospects (he has a potential score of 92).
