Dortmund will seek a transfer record fee for Jude Bellingham this summer, with Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea vying for his signing.
Borussia is desperate to retain him, but Bellingham has only two years remaining on his contract, so this summer will be the club’s final opportunity to get the best price for him.
With that in mind, the Germans will ask for something around £131 million for Bellingham.
That would be a transfer record price for a British player, surpassing Manchester City’s £100 million fee for Jack Grealish in 2021.
Bellingham has flourished in the Bundesliga and has 15 international caps with England since debuting 18 months ago.
The midfielder has been linked with a transfer to Liverpool, considering Jurgen Klopp’s need for one. Chelsea and United are also set to battle for Bellingham, a unique talent.
