Cristiano Ronaldo has decided his future.

The captain of the Portuguese national team, Cristiano Ronaldo, has announced that he would not retire from international duties after the World Cup and intends to play in the Euro 2024 tournament.

Ronaldo, at 37 years old and having made his debut for Portugal in 2003, has scored 117 goals in 189 appearances for his international team.

In September, the forward of Manchester United made history by becoming the player with the most goals scored in the history of men’s international competition with 109 goals. On Tuesday, at a banquet hosted by the Portuguese Football Federation, he stated that his “journey is not finished yet.”

If 37-year-old Ronaldo is included in Fernando Santos’ final World Cup team, he would participate in his fifth World Cup overall, after 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2018.

This week, Portugal plays the Czech Republic and Spain in their last Euro Nations League group games, and the Manchester United striker will probably be participating in both.
