This weekend, Manchester will stage its derby.

On Sunday afternoon, the city will come to a grinding halt as Manchester United travels the short distance to take on its boisterous neighbours in the Premier League derby.

Guardiola’s team is the favourite to win this weekend’s game, but the strange history of this matchup and recent performances give a resurgent reason to hope for another unforgettable away day for United.

Both trainers have got little time to prepare their team for the Manchester derby on Sunday. A great number of players were on international duty, with the last games taking place on Tuesday.

So far this season, City have been unstoppable, especially at home, where they hold a perfect record.

On the other side, United lost their first two games of the league season to Brighton and Brentford, but reverted their situation by winning their past four matches.

Pep Guardiola has said that John Stones will not play in the Manchester derby this coming Sunday.

For the Reds, Rashford and Martial are uncertain to play in the Manchester derby after skipping training due to injuries.
